After a fulfilling 20-year career as a retail banker with AXA, I felt it was time for a change. Always been a global traveler, and during one of my visits to friends in Portugal led me to fall in love with the Alentejo. Discovering a rural lifestyle with so much potential in Mértola, we decided to buy a holiday home in 2018. Completely dazzled by the area by the end of 2019, we celebrated our country wedding in a small rural village. Experiencing the relaxed pace of life and the deep respect for family and nature, I knew I wanted to make a change. Because I enjoy working, I began exploring opportunities. Through a friend who had sold their house with Divine Home, I was introduced to Chantal, the owner. After just one meeting, I knew that representing Divine Home in a new area would be my next career move abroad. Combining my financial background and network from Belgium with Divine Home's professionalism and vision felt like the perfect fit.

For me, it’s the perfect mix of guiding people on their journey to find the perfect property, discovering new properties to sell, and connecting with the local community, which makes every day unique. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, friends, and animals. Dogs always bring a smile to my face and recharge my energy. I also love working in the garden and tending to my vegetable patch.
